PCMan File Manager - Extremly fast and lightweight file manager which features tabbed browsing, super-fast startup, low resource usage, and user-friendly interface along with desktop icons, mounting volumes via HAL, ...etc. Its low system requirement and modern design make it suitable for low-end devices such as netbooks or embeded systems.

*Can be started in one second on normal machine
*Tabbed browsing (Similiar to Firefox)
*Built-in volume management (mount/umount/eject through HAL)
*Drag & Drop support
*Files can be dragged among tabs
*Load large directories in reasonable time
*File association support (Default application)
*Thumbnail for image files
*Bookmarks support
*Handles non-UTF-8 encoded filenames correctly
*Provide icon view and detailed list view
*Standard compliant (Follows FreeDesktop.org)

Finish FUSE support    

There is a branch of PCMan FM to support remote FTP and SMB filesystems mounting through FUSE. It is considered experimental now. Vote for testing, fixing remaining issues, and committing it to trunk.
